We are hiring multiple Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses to add to a client- specific team of nurses supporting a client with medical needs in Duncan, BC. This job will entail providing care in the family home to an infant with a trach in the family home.
Job duties include: respiratory monitoring, feeding baby, documentation, equipment cleaning, med administration, age appropriate play, and personal care.

Flexible self- scheduling is done on a monthly basis. We are looking for Full time, Part time and casual staff to provide daily nursing support. Shifts can be scheduled 4-12 hours. Easy to pick up shifts around an existing job. We have full or part time NIGHT shifts available. DAY shifts are also available.

A 2-day sponsored training course will be provided to the successful applicant(s), depending on your assigned clients care needs. This training takes place in Vancouver at BC Children's Hospital (costs associated with travel will be covered).

The next specialty training course runs once a month.

Note: we are not a travel company and do not offer staff housing.

Qualifications:
Current 'practicing' registration with BCCNM
Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
