Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood and other materials Install horizontal and vertical metal studs to frames so that wallboard can be attached to interior walls. Cut and screw together metal channels to make floor or ceiling frames, according to plans. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
