Job Reports To: Manager of Rehabilitation Services

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy;
Registration with College of Physiotherapy of Ontario;
Experience with supervision of support staff;
Experience in working with the geriatric population and chronic diseases;
CPR certification;
ADP certified, or willingness to become certified considered an asset;
Strong physical assessment & treatment planning skills;
Excellent time management and organizational skills;
Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively as a member of a team;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
A commitment to best practices, quality, and client-centered care;
Bilingual (French and English)
Responsibilities:
As a member of our team you will be responsible for:
Initiating and managing the assessment and treatment for restoring movement/function, orthopaedic conditions and pain management;
Providing physiotherapy to outpatient residents in long-terms care, retirement home and assisted living setting
Developing a personalized treatment program that includes but is not limited to exercise, manual therapy and home exercise program.
Prescribing and educating clients utilization of mobility aids, assistive devices and other equipment;
Overseeing Physiotherapy Support Personnel (PTA).
Date of Commencement: As soon as possible.
