Medical Director - Minor Injury Clinic - (1538)

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is accepting applications for the position of Medical Director, Minor Injury Clinic (MIC) at the Pan Am Clinic.

The Pan Am Minor Injury Clinic assesses and treats patients with acute musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains, cuts, bruises, and fractures that do not require hospitalization. The clinic can also assess and treat most ambulatory bone, joint, and soft tissue injuries.

Responsibilities
• Supervising the work of all clinic medical staff and maintaining the quality and quantity of service provision.
• Recruiting, hiring, and retaining physicians in the MIC.
• Scheduling physicians in the MIC.
• Maintaining standards of care for all patients attending MIC.
• Reporting on service delivery and concerns of patients attending MIC.
• Liaising with physicians/groups/institutions on transfers/referrals/consults from the MIC.
• Attending meetings and other administrative duties as set out in the role description.

Qualifications
Eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
