Our telemedicine service is seeking a licensed nurse practitioner to join our growing company. GOeVisit is a member service that has been providing episodic care for minor illness conditions since 2016.

You must be confident, knowledgeable and articulate in the performance of general assessments. You will need to provide exceptional telemedicine-based patient care.
You must have excellent communication skills and be flexible, adaptable in working with technology and problem-solving during telemedicine patient visits.
As a member of our team, you will have the ability to assess patient needs, prescribe or renew medication and order lab tests.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Performing patient evaluations through an online telemedicine platform.
Ability to assess, diagnose, treat, order and prescribe for patients of all ages.
Recognition of the benefits and the limits of virtual care.
Ability to use online communication as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool.
Ability to work independently.
Provide counselling and education.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
Current registration with the BC College of Nurses/College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner and member in good standing.
Excellent health assessment/clinical skills.
Be willing to work remotely and have an internet connection.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge/experience in consultation and ethical decision-making.
Excellent written documentation skills that are clear, thorough, concise, accurate and timely.
Accountable for own actions and decisions, comfortable making decisions within the scope of the position.
Strong critical thinker who can confidently make evidence-based decisions.
Comfortable with a telemedicine environment.
Travel consultation experience (preferred).
Multi-jurisdictional licensing (preferred).

Must hold a valid Canadian work permit.
