Canadian Orthodontic Partners provides support services to docbraces Hatheway Bridgewater and our national network of community-based clinics in delivering personalized Orthodontic treatment. What you'll be doing:
• Organizes and updates paperwork and administrative requirements to collect payments.
• New Patient orientation - signed documents.
• Enter and update financial contracts into a software system.
• Resolve financial discrepancies and financial concerns.
• Update financial information in the Practice Management Software.
• Maintain and balance daily finances.
• Maintain positive relationships with insurance companies.
• Track any notes on the chart regarding insurance changes.
• Processing insurance claims and reconciling insurance cheques.
• Arrange payment agreements with new patients.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts.
• Prompt communications to patients' inquiries.
• Manages and responds to all customer calls.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring systems and checklists.
• Managing and resolving patient concerns/issues.
• Greet every patient was kindness, enthusiasm and interest ensuring that everyone feels welcomed.
• Communicate with the patients and guardians regarding their appointments. Provide answers pertaining to their orthodontic treatment, appointments, and office policies.
• Answer all incoming calls and make detailed notes regarding important conversations with patients and their responsible parties.
• Check voice messages, emails, mail, and pigeon chat regularly.
• Complete 'New Patient Phone Slips' when booking new patients for consultations.
• Gather insurance information and complete the insurance checklist.
• Book and organize patient appointments.
• Scan all information into the patient charts.
What you'll need to be successful:
• Administrative experience
• Must have customer service experience
• Some Financial experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, and an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
• Great time management and organizational skills.
