We are seeking 1-2 experienced Registered Massage Therapists to join the growing SHIFT Rehabilitation team. There're multiple arrangement opportunities dependent on individual preferences: room rental, company split, daily rate and/or room share with morning/afternoon shifts available.
Responsibilities:
Assess new client's and perform quality massage sessions based on your findings
Customize each session based on each client's individualized needs
Provide disability management coordination
Manage client's files with appropriate charting, communication (both written and oral), written reports, etc.
Work with a client profile that can range from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, post-operative
Update electronic charting with outcomes and client progress
Maintain hygiene standards
Provide educational components to help manage the client's injuries/illnesses
Communicate regularly with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Claims Handlers, case managers, and other members of the client's rehabilitation team
Requirements:
Valid BC RMT registration/licence
Be a member in good standing with The College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia
Must hold professional and commercial general liability insurance
Must see ICBC clients
Hold current first aid and CPR
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Passion for your work and ability to build a strong rapport with your clients
Strong organizational and time management skills
Geriatric and neurological experience an asset
Social media and advertising experience are an asset
