We are recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses to add to a client- specific team of nurses supporting a pediatric client with medical needs in the Victoria, Saanich, and Langford areas. This job will entail providing 1:1 care in the home or accompanying the client to their public school. Specialty training course is provided. Depending on the client you are assigned to some common nursing tasks include: medication administration, G-tube feeds, respiratory care and monitoring (Bi-Pap, CPAP, trach, or oxygen), mobility assistance with mobility aids, assessments, and personal care.

Flexible self- scheduling is done on a monthly basis to build a support schedule of:
6-8hr dayshifts
7-8hr night shifts

A 1-day sponsored training course will be provided to the successful applicant(s), depending on your assigned clients care needs. This training takes place in Vancouver at BC Children's Hospital (costs associated with travel will be covered).

Qualifications:
Current 'practicing' registration with BCCNM
Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
