Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and assisting dental professionals in delivering quality dental services.
Duties
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them the appropriate tools
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Schedule patient appointments and manage dental records
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting preferred
- Knowledge of Cleardent, Excel and medical terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is advantageous
- Proficiency in dental receptionist duties would be beneficial
