Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate full-time hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting oral health. As a hygienist at our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-quality dental care and helping our patients maintain optimal oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing
Conduct oral health assessments and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in dental hygiene
Qualifications:
Valid Ontario dental hygiene license
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to patient education and preventive care
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
