Business Operating Name: Height Roofing & WaterProofing Ltd Business Address: A St, Surrey, BC, V3T 4Z7 Work locations: Various locations across Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland Job Title: Roofer Helper (NOC 75110) Number of Positions: 5 Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week, full-time/Permanent Start Date: As Soon As Possible Wage: $34.65- $36.65 Per hour (Depending on experience) Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week JOB DUTIES Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites Mix, pour and spread materials Assist tradespersons such as roofers and glaziers in construction activities Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment Assist in carrying heavy equipment Help roofers to do layout Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive Tasks, physically demanding, Handling Heavy loads Education: No formal education required Experience: Minimum of 23 years of experience in roofing or in relevant construction field is required.
