Registered Nurse

with plenty of outdoor spaces to roam about.

The Opportunity

Under the direction of the Director of Resident Care (DOC), the Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable to
provide professional nursing care to residents and to supervise care given by staff. Primary functions include
assessment and planning of resident care needs; delivery of skilled procedures according to the College of
Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice; medication administration; and documentation.

What you will do: What you will need:
• Provide for nursing care of residents in accordance

with established policies, physician's orders, the
resident care plans and within the scope of practice
of a RN

• Order, receive and administer prescribed medications
and treatments in accordance with the standards set
by the Ontario College of Nurses

• Observe and monitor condition of residents and
report changes in physical or mental status

• Develop, implement, evaluate and adjust resident
care plans

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the
College of Nurses of Ontario

• BScN preferred - Experience in long term
care or rehabilitation is preferred

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills

What we are offering
This is a Permanent Full-time opportunity at the District. The hourly compensation range for this role is $32.22 -
