Location: Montreal, QC (On-site)
Salary: $80,000-100,000/year
Reports to: Lucas Breton, Head of IT
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional after-hours work during critical projects, incidents or emergencies.

Job Description:
As the Systems Administrator, you will report to the IT Manager and be instrumental in maintaining, securing, and optimizing the company's IT systems and processes. You will collaborate closely with the IT Manager to support employees across multiple locations and ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on, solutions-driven professional who thrives on tackling technical challenges and implementing innovative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient workstation deployment strategies to improve performance and user experience.
  • Conduct regular system audits, applying updates and patches to maintain security and meet business requirements.
  • Manage various onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring accurate access rights and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues across all locations, including network-related problems, to minimize downtime and optimize response times.
  • Administer and optimize key platforms, including Google Workspace, JumpCloud, UniFi, Salesforce, Rippling, Zapier, Monday.com, and Adobe Creative Cloud, ensuring they are configured effectively to support business operations.
  • Administer and enhance software-defined networking (SDN) applications, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate with management to design and implement disaster recovery and security strategies.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, with a proven ability to manage and maintain complex IT environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for task automation and configuration management, with practical experience deploying scripts in live environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing a hybrid fleet of 200+ devices (macOS, iOS, Windows) using MDM solutions.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN) applications, network configurations, and IT system security.
  • Advanced technical skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues independently.
  • Proven ability to identify, mitigate, and resolve security vulnerabilities in dynamic, multi-location environments.
  • Full fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Workspace, JumpCloud, UniFi, Salesforce, Rippling, Zapier, Monday.com, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Familiarity with SaaS automation tools, IoT, and audio/video/photo production tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures, including familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, or equivalent
