Stadium Maintenance Supervisor
The Winnipeg Football Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual for the position of Stadium Maintenance Supervisor at Princess Auto Stadium. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Stadium Maintenance they will assist in ensuring the stadium stays well maintained and in excellent operating condition while will playing a key role in creating a safe space for all stakeholders, players and fans. Responsibilities:
· Assist with seasonal stadium start up and shut down
· General building maintenance including but not limited to: Patching/painting, minor plumbing, repairing seats, replacing ceiling tiles, flooring repairs, changing light bulbs, and repairing furniture, office and cleaning equipment
· Assist with mechanical systems maintenance and monitoring of essential building systems
· Act as contact for fire alarms and emergency response
· Assist with contractor management
· Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workshop
· Act as on-site maintenance leader during minor events
· Assist with event prep/teardown, field and building turnovers
· Lead a small team of maintenance techs
Requirements
· 3+ years experience in a building maintenance/leadership role
· Basic knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical/Fire protection systems
· Ability to work with a large variety of power and hand tools safely and effectively
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work evening/weekends/overtime based on event schedule
· Must be comfortable working with the public and have strong interpersonal, verbal communication skills
· Ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines in a safe and effective manner
· Ability to work well in with a team as well as independently
· Experience working with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
· Capable of basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Web Brower)
· Ability to walk for extended periods of time, climb ladders and lift 50lbs+
· A valid drivers licence
· Experience in trades work is considered an asset
· Experience with operating or maintaining heavy equipment (loader, skid steer, forklift) is considered an asset
