We're currently seeking a Shop Manager to lead the team at our Powell Street location in Vancouver, BC.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive industry or related experience, including experience in sales, customer service, management or leadership;
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred; a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered;
  • Strong understanding of operations, budgeting, and expense management;
  • I-CAR Platinum certification an asset;
  • Proficiency in Mitchell Estimating, Audatex, ALLDATA an asset;
  • Knowledge and proficiency in ADAS systems, vehicle calibrations, and emerging vehicle technologies an asset;
  • Strong verbal, written and listening skills, combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision-makers;
  • Demonstrated aptitude to prioritize tasks based on comparative importance and urgency;
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
  • Proven experience effectively leading a team in a fast-paced environment;
  • Demonstrated time management, problem solving, critical thinking and sound judgement skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customer service-oriented attitude;
  • Proficient in Outlook and video conferencing platforms with the ability and willingness to learn new applications;
  • Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning and development;
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years;
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Canada and to the US for company functions.
