POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Business Manager, Strategic Sourcing, this position is responsible for preparing analysis and presentations related to material cost and contract margins, financial forecasts, and compliance. This position will support the Business Manager in the monitoring and control of item pricing, validation of savings from Sourcing initiatives, and investigations into contract margin attainment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Coordinates and generates data and analysis to support the following activities: compliance (Buy America, Buy Canada, USMCA), purchase price variance/material cost control, contract margin analysis, financial forecasts, and budget requirements.
- Supports Sourcing staff in preparing analysis and projections on Strategic Sourcing initiatives.
- Maintains the Compliance registry for NFI Group Supply Management.
- Assists in coordination of the Supplier Risk Management process and reporting across the NFI Group.
- Facilitates and coordinates selected sourcing process improvements, activities, and projects.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Completed or enrolled in post-secondary education in a recognized business or management program (Supply Chain Management preferred).
- Exceptional data gathering and analysis skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and drive to produce accurate information.
- Prior experience with general Supply Management process and procedures would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of financial statements and accounting practices to effectively prepare forecasts, budgets, and other reports of Sourcing performance considered an asset.
