We are currently seeking a Weekend Shift Shop QA/QC Inspector in our fabrication shop in SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible).

Accountabilities:
- Possess CWB Level 1 Certification
- Have 2+ years previous Quality Control experience
- Have CSTS-09/2020 ticket or Common Safety Orientation ticket
- Have a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
- Show a proven commitment to Safety
- Have the ability to use tools and equipment safely
- Commitment to safety and adhering to all safe work practices and procedures
- Complete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
- Record welders symbols, heat numbers and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
- Prepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests
- Install name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors and Client TPI's
- Complete Quality Control paperwork
- Be able to work in a manufacturing facility with other trades present
- Have the ability to perform outside/inside work, sometimes in inclimate weather conditions
- Meet the physical demands of the position
- Be able to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders
