Position Description
As Valsoft continues to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Campus Recruiter to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Talent, the Campus Recruiter will build and lead our campus recruitment strategy, establishing Valsoft's presence at top universities, managing the recruitment process and overseeing the intern program for our corporate mergers and acquisitions teams. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders to attract top-tier talent and create a strong campus presence, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience for candidates and the organization. This is a highly unique opportunity to innovate and lead the campus recruitment function for a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with top universities (career services, faculty and student organizations) to build Valsoft's on-campus presence and promote Valsoft as an employer of choice for internships and early-career opportunities.
- Design and execute a scalable campus recruitment strategy to attract and select high-performing students. Build, document and implement the internal processes required to support this strategy.
- Manage the full campus recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, screenings, and coordinating offer letters.
- Oversee and coordinate the intern program, including onboarding, performance management, events and return offers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers in the mergers and acquisitions teams to understand their talent needs, coordinate their presence at campus recruitment events and leverage their existing university relationships.
- Develop and maintain talent pools by cultivating lasting relationships with candidates.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations or another relevant field.
- CPHR designation (an asset).
- Minimum 3 years of campus recruitment experience, preferably in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Proven track record of building and managing strong university relationships.
- Experience implementing and/or improving recruitment processes and/or talent programs (an asset).
- Proficiency in recruitment technology and application tracking systems (ATS).
Personal Characteristics
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills; confident in representing the organization among top universities and students.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and implementing processes and programs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French.
