Assist and learn from the Journeyman Glazier in regards to reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine type and thickness of glass, frame, installation procedure and materials required

Load and unload materials, and move materials to work areas

Assist as required with moving as well as measuring and mark glass so journeyman can cut glass using glass cutters or computerized cutter as directed by the supervisor

Remove and dispose of debris at installation sites

Assist with assembly to erect and dismantle scaffolds, rigging and hoisting equipment

Transport, lift, hold and position glass panes to the right location to be fit into frames and secure glass using clips, points or mouldings with journeyman Glazier guidance

Assemble and assist Glazier with lifting and installation of prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products on walls, ceilings or exteriors of building

Bring correct material as required to site for fabrication of metal frames for glass installation when required

Assist Journeyman as required to support with the following: Lift, hold, Install, fit, measure, fabricate to attach to architectural metals or related substitute products in commercial and residential buildings as directed by the journeyman Glazier

Assist with the installation of pre-cut mirrors and opaque and transparent glass panels in frames to form exterior walls of buildings as directed by the supervisor completing the installations.

Assist with removal or repairs of serviced residential windows, commercial aluminum doors and other glass supporting structures, and replace damaged glass or faulty sealant as per direction of journeyman glazier

Not afraid of heights

Drivers licence is an asset

Work in all weather conditions

Out of town work is required in Saskatchewan
