Position: Social Media Coordinator Reports to: Silver Hills Bakery Brand Manager

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team! As the Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all activities within our multiple social profiles, creating on-brand and socially relevant posts & videos, and regularly monitoring community management and influencer communication through our social accounts.

Knowledge & skills

  • You have strong time management and organizational skills
  • You have top-notch communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have a deep understanding of platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, including their specific features, algorithms, and audience behaviors
  • You are capable of analyzing performance data, interpreting metrics, and making data-driven decisions.
  • You can generate creative ideas for campaigns, posts, and overall content strategy.
  • You excel in written and verbal communication crafting clear, engaging, and on-brand messages.

Experience

  • You have a Degree/Diploma in Marketing or related field
  • You have relevant experience working in a similar capacity
  • You have experience with MS Office with an emphasis on Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • You have experience with Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, and social media platforms
  • You have the experience creating diverse content including reels, static posts, carousels, and stories

things you will do…

  • Support the Silver Hills Brand Managers in creating, scheduling, and delivering content for our social media programs
  • Coordinate and participate in photoshoots
  • Track, measure, and report on social performance using Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Meta Business Suite
  • Consistently monitor all social platforms, responding to consumers, influencers, and relevant post opportunities in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Influencers scheduling relevant content and posts in line with the social content quarterly themes
  • Create relevant Reels and social posts in a timely manner to keep the brands on trend
  • Lend a helping hand to the Customer Service team as needed

OTHER …

  • Will be required to monitor or post on social media during some weekends and evenings, as the job requires
  • Travel to events within Canada and the United States

Salary - $50,000 - $60,000 CAD
