Job Title: Senior Strategist - Digital Transformation
Location: Ottawa

Job Overview: We are seeking highly qualified resources for an upcoming RFP, specifically a Senior Strategist with extensive experience in digital transformation, command and control investment planning, and organizational change management within high-security environments (e.g., defense, intelligence, law enforcement). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing complex IT initiatives and delivering strategic outcomes in highly regulated and sensitive sectors. This role is critical to our bid on this contract, and we are looking for the best talent to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and shape large-scale digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and security mandates.
  • Investment Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive command and control investment plans, guiding multi-year strategies that support mission-critical objectives.
  • Team Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple cross-functional teams to successfully deliver complex IT solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Digital Strategy Development: Drive the creation and execution of digital strategies and performance management frameworks, with full lifecycle involvement and accountability.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives related to large-scale digital transformation, focusing on sectors requiring extensive security protocols.
  • Business Intelligence: Design and implement BI solutions to enhance decision-making processes and operational efficiency.
  • Surveillance and Security Expertise: Leverage experience in surveillance, DND architectures, and security protocols to inform strategic planning and execution.
  • Reporting & Performance Management: Develop and report on strategic plans, ensuring measurable outcomes and continuous improvement in complex IM/IT environments.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in digital transformation within highly secure environments.
    • 10+ years in developing and managing command and control investment plans.
    • 10+ years in managing multiple teams to deliver complex IT projects.
    • 108 months of experience in digital strategy development and performance management frameworks.
    • 2+ years in organizational change management for large-scale digital transformations in security-focused sectors.
    • 2+ years in designing and deploying business intelligence solutions.
    • Proven experience in DND architectures and surveillance systems.
  • Education: Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in change management.
  • Additional Expertise:
    • Extensive experience in guns and badges sectors, with a deep understanding of their unique challenges and requirements.
    • Leadership in complex IM/IT projects within defense, intelligence, or law enforcement.
