We are a firm that does things a little differently. This is your opportunity to join our high-calibre, experienced group of professionals on a mission to re-imagine the future by changing the way that buildings are conceived and constructed.
Entuitive is looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer, based in our Toronto office. We are passionate about our work and the talented individuals that get to deliver complex projects on a regular basis. The Intermediate Engineer will work on small and medium projects and assist in maintaining a high level of service for the Special Project Structural practice at Entuitive. This will entail working closely with the other service groups at Entuitive to ensure consistent, consolidated, and leading- edge service across the firm. What is Special Projects?
The Special Project groups at Entuitive focus on small to medium projects of varying degrees of complexity requiring skills that span many areas of structural engineering. Special project work often involves adding to or modifying existing buildings or working with design teams to provide structural design for unique bespoke requirements. The design work crosses all structural materials and often involves understanding and working with antiquated structural systems or working with limited information on the existing structural system. The special projects teams see projects through from client intent all the way through design and construction on-site. Special project engineers are masters at time management, working on multiple projects at a time and respond well to projects with tight timelines.
Types of projects may include structural condition assessments, new ground up buildings, additions or upgrades to existing buildings, renovations and tenant improvements, designing structural support for mechanical upgrades, architectural improvements and sustainability upgrades.
