We're the guys behind Encore Brewing Co., Cranbrook's home for craft beer, bowling, live music, arcade games, and a kitchen that's all about bold, beer-friendly eats. Two years in, we've built a spot where good times and great food go hand-in-hand-and our team is the heart of it all.

Our kitchen crew is talented, hard-working, and genuinely fun to be around. Now, we're looking to bring on a killer Sous Chef to help lead this team, bring fresh ideas, and keep the good energy (and great food) flowing.

About the Food

Our menu is packed with creative comfort food-pizza, tacos, house-smoked meats, and rotating features that push the envelope. We make everything we can in-house, including sauces and pizza dough (shoutout to spent grain from the brewhouse), and we're always down to experiment.

This is a kitchen where ideas are welcomed, bold flavors are encouraged, and there's real pride in what we serve.

What You'll Do

Lead by example during prep and service alongside the Head Chef

Help develop new feature dishes, seasonal menus, and beer pairings

Keep things organized, clean, and running smoothly

Mentor, train, and support the team-culture matters here

Step in when the Chef's off-site

Jump into cool projects like catering events, beer dinners, and festivals

What We're Looking For

3+ years of kitchen experience, including time in a leadership role

A passion for food, beer, and creativity in the kitchen

Strong organizational chops and clear communication

A calm, team-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Someone who wants to grow with us, not just punch the clock
