Recreation Assistant

Job Description:

• Aide in the development and delivery of exercise and wellness programs.

• Promote summer programming with community volunteers.

• Assist with community projects to promote public spaces and activities.

• Assist in organizing special events, tournaments, and outdoor activities.

• Support the Recreation Coordinator in administrative tasks, as needed.

• Other responsibilities in relation to candidate's skills and capabilities.

Essential Qualifications:

• Eligible for employment under the NB SEED Program.

• Valid driver's license and own form of transportation.

• Computer skills (Microsoft Suite).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Recreation Management, or

related field.

• Experience in community engagement.

• Computer skills (Canva, WordPress).
