Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Location: Regent Mall, Fredericton, NB

Job Overview:
Advantage Personnel is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join the team at Regent Mall in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property's safety and appearance, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for tenants, customers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections of the property to ensure all areas are safe and well-maintained
• Alert your supervisor about any repairs or maintenance needs promptly
• Handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., painting, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping)
• Monitor for and address health and safety concerns
• Respond to tenant inquiries or concerns in a timely manner
• Ensure the property is inspection-ready at all times
• Empty trash bins and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
• Assist external contractors during repairs and inspections (e.g., HVAC, tradespeople)
• Provide outstanding customer service to tenants, contractors, and visitors
• Coordinate maintenance tasks with colleagues and other departments
• Assist with setup and takedown of materials for various events or tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Required to work some hours on weekends every few weeks

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• College diploma in a related field is a plus
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role

Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of trades or HVAC is a bonus
• Proficient in using power tools
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and First Aid certification are beneficial
