Plumbing Associate

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Plumbing Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll assist customers, manage inventory, and provide expert advice on plumbing materials and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Engage and assist customers at the plumbing desk
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers who come to the plumbing desk
• Provide customer service over the phone, by email, or on video calls
• Assist customers in selecting plumbing products, fittings, and tools.
• Provide basic plumbing advice and product recommendations.
• Process sales transactions and handle special orders.
• Maintain inventory levels and organize the plumbing department.
• Ensure the section is clean, well-stocked, and properly labeled.
• Support project estimating with product availability and pricing.
• Assist with after-market sales and warranty claims.
• Work with contractors, homeowners, and DIY customers to ensure they find the right solutions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior sales experience preferred, preferably in the building material industry
• Able to lift heavy boxes (up to 50lbs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of computer systems and technical support preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
