Licensed Practical Nurse PPT 0.6 (Days/Evenings)

Oakwood Terrace is a 111 bed Long Term Care Facility in Dartmouth NS. Our residents reside on one of our four clinical units and are supported by Nursing, Dietary, Housekeeping, Recreation, Physiotherapy, Rehab Assistant, Spiritual Care, Clinical Pharmacist and Physicians.

Primary responsibility would include safe medication administration to 27-29 residents in addition to coordination of clinical care in partnership with the Clinical Leader (RN), coaching and mentoring of CCA staff and students during clinical placements. We are searching for a candidate who demonstrates effective leadership, interpersonal skills and critical thinking/decision making. The successful candidate must hold a current and valid license to practice with CLPNNS. Familiarity with Catalyst OneMar electronic medication administration and Point Click Care (electronic charting) are an asset.

Current registration in good standing with CLPNNS.

Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.

Experience in Long Term Care an asset.

Salary will be based on years of experience and current CUPE contract.
