POSITION: Youth Outreach Plus Social Worker
Location: Glace Bay, NS
Qualifications: Our Organization is seeking individuals with a Bachelor of Social Work Degree who have experience working with youth and families. These positions are full-time permanent.
Position Requirements: The Youth Outreach Plus position provides two service types. First, the social worker will provide collaborative case consultation for Youth Outreach Program staff to support complex case management. Secondly, the worker will provide intensive goal-focused home and community-based interventions to provide support to youth with multiple vulnerabilities. The goal is to improve immediate and long-term educational, vocational, social, economic, and health outcomes for young persons aged 16-24.
Persons considered for this position must have membership in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers, an active drivers' license, clear vulnerable and child abuse registry checks.
