We are a leading company in Residential and Commercial Development and are looking for the right person to join our team. One who has a minimum of 3+ years' experience in account payable. As the ideal candidate, you have completed either a college (NSCC or equivalent) or university program with a concentration in accounting.
An understanding of property accounting would be an asset.

The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoice submission, processing, and payment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and an understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Sage 50 (Simply Accounting) is required.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Receive, verify, match & post invoices for properties
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Maintain vendor accounts & relationships
Reconcile vendor statements
Credit Card Reconciliations
Prepare and process payment runs
Assist in month-end procedures
· Creating and Tracking Various Spreadsheets for the Purpose of Reporting any Financial information that requires tracking.
Other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· The individual MUST have proficient knowledge and experience in the following areas:
· Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and can apply them on the job
· Very Strong capabilities using Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
· Very Strong capabilities of using Microsoft Outlook at an advanced level
· Very Strong capabilities of using Sage
· Excellent organization skills
· Extremely detail oriented and accurate
· Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
· Good interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
· Ability to work independently and be a team player, and take initiative to get things done
· Very Proficient in other Microsoft and Adobe Suite such as Word, etc.
· Typing skills at 50wpm (or more) is an asset
