Logistics Coordinator

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR POSITION AT EACAN TIMBER LTD

Coordinate transportation and other logistical processes such as: planning and hiring trucks to transport lumber from mills to distribution centers and lumber yards

Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, pick up/delivery commitments are met

Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost

Partner and communicate with management, employees, suppliers, and customers

Coordinate and develop logistics sector

Plan and schedule the loading of trucks and outgoing orders

Make sure orders are accurately filled and delivered

Manage and maintain working relations with a high volume of carrier companies

Help direct, control and co-ordinate shipping, receiving, delivery and freight-forwarding activities according to each sector of the job.

Computer literate

Excel in group communication, problem-solving and leadership

Works well in a team environment

Ability to adapt to changes.

Detail oriented.

Have a background in logistics, trucking, or lumber

French language is highly valued
