As a quickly growing, dynamic, and culture-focused organization, Heart & Stroke NB is seeking a dynamic, bilingual professional for a part time, permanent position as Resuscitation Program Manager.
The Resuscitation Program Manager (RPM) is a critical support to our provincial network of CPR & First Aid instructors, as well as program stakeholders. The RPM position operates as the registrar for Heart & Stroke's provincial resuscitation program, ensuring best practice standards are met in accordance with national guidelines. Additionally, the RPM will provide management support to other resuscitation programs of the Foundation including AED Placements, CPR Awareness, and support to community training
RESPONSIBILITES
- Oversee the implementation of Heart & Stroke's resuscitation program in NB
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and support from the public and members of our instructor network
- Provide information and guidance to our network of 250+ Instructors and Instructor Trainers regarding policy changes, guideline updates, and other related matters.
- Participate in stakeholder engagement with partners such as: GNB, Long Term Care, Health Authorities, etc.
- Act as the Liaison between Heart & Stroke NB and the National Heart & Stroke Resuscitation team to ensure NB's interests, perspectives, and initiatives are effectively communicated while aligning with national goals and strategies.
- Support the onboarding process of new Instructors, Experienced Instructors, and Instructor Trainers.
- Recruit new instructors to Heart & Stroke NB's resuscitation network.
- Oversee the Placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in public locations
- Manage the AED subsidy fund, including determining eligibility, notifying successful applicants, and tracking disbursement and usage data
- Support the creation of program collateral including web content, brochures, etc.
- Support the coordination of social awareness campaigns, such as for CPR Month (November), and provide social med content when necessary
- Some travel as required.
- Some weekends and evenings as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingualism (French & English) is required.
- Excellent customer services skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution
- Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
- Must be comfortable in front of groups.
- Current CPR and/or First Aid certification an asset
- A strong desire / willingness to learn.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
