Advantage Personnel is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Residential Yard Worker/Caretaker to join our clients growing team!

In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall maintenance and improvement of lawns. Your day-to-day activities will involve mowing, trimming, and edging lawns, applying fertilizers and pest control measures, and performing seasonal clean-ups. You'll work with a range of equipment and tools, ensuring they are used safely and maintained properly.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine lawn care tasks, including mowing, plowing, shoveling, trimming, edging, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive lawns
* Manage flower beds, shrubs, and trees by weeding, mulching, pruning, and applying pest control treatments as needed
* Assist in the installation of new landscaping features, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as laying sod and mulch
* Safely operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools, including lawn mowers, blowers, trimmers, plows, snow blowers, and hand tools
* Participate in seasonal yard care tasks such as snow removal, leaf removal, and preparing gardens for winter
* Assist with planting and seasonal decorations to enhance the visual appeal of residential properties
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their yard care needs and preferences, providing exceptional customer service
* Address any client concerns or requests in a professional manner
* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
* Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and report any hazards or unsafe conditions

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Previous experience in landscaping, yard maintenance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Willingness to learn is key
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and working in various weather conditions
* Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed
* A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred, as transportation to job sites may be required
* Basic communication skills in English; additional language skills are an asset
