Purity Factories Ltd. is a local family-owned food manufacturing company located in St. John's, NL. We produce quality crackers, cookies, candy, jam and Newfoundland traditional syrups. 2024 marks our 100th year in business. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. Based in or around Gander you will cover Grand Falls, Gander, Clarenville and surrounding areas.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and customer service, with a passion for building relationships and driving business growth. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and delivering exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Call cycle is weekly, biweekly, monthly.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our offerings.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to create effective strategies for lead generation and business development.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay informed about industry tends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential growth areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma (college degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sales is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability in business development and account management.
- Strong negotiation skills with a result - oriented mindset.
- Internet and email, MS Office, Excel, Word required.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Some lifting required from time to time.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel for outside sales activities, sales meeting as required.
