Competition Number: 24-61 NT

Here are a few ways you will make a difference:

  • Contributing to the good governance of the WSCC by providing advice to the Senior Management Team, President and CEO, and the Governance Council.
  • Playing an important role in setting policy priorities through research and analysis on national and territorial issues related to workers' compensation and occupational health & safety.
  • Providing expert advice and recommendations to the Senior Management Team, President and CEO, and the Governance Council on a variety of policy and legislative issues to support WSCC's legislative requirements.
  • Drafting policy instruments and other governing documents to provide the direction needed for the effective and efficient operation of the WSCC as it pursues its Vision to eliminate workplace diseases and injuries.

What you bring to the role:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. political science, public administration, economics, business administration, etc.).

  • Five years of progressive experience in policy and/or legislative development.

  • Experience with workers' compensation or OHS policy and legislation is an asset.

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
