Commercial glazers play a vital role in the construction and renovation of commercial buildings, contributing to both the aesthetic and practical aspects of architectural design.

Advantage Personnel is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Glass Installation Specialist/Commercial Glazer, to join our customers growing and dynamic team! As a leader in the glass installation industry, they pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and high-quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial glazing, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment!

Responsibilities:
* Installing Glass Products. This includes windows, storefronts, curtain walls, glass doors, and partitions in various commercial settings
* Replacing and Repairing Glass
* In addition to glass, glazers may work with aluminum frames and other materials to support glass structures
* Ensure proper alignment, secure fittings, and effective sealing of glass installations to maintain structural integrity and aesthetic appeal
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations established by the company and local authorities, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act in New Brunswick
* Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client specifications
* Maintain accurate records of materials used, project timelines, and client communications
* Address any issues promptly and professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction

Candidate Qualification:
* High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certification in glazing or construction is an asset
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to glass installation
* Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in glazing
* Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and working at heights
* Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to installation and repairs
* A valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract is required, as travel to job sites may be necessary
