This Opportunity:

The Operations Manager role is key to ensuring that the NS Works program that Community Inclusion Society delivers in Kentville and Windsor meets the priorities of the funder, serves the needs of job seekers and employers, while also inspiring and supporting your incredible team.

The Operations Manager empowers their team to meet their potential and in doing so, help their clients (job seekers and employers alike) to also meet theirs.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the NS Works project based out of the Kentville and Windsor locations
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Manage and optimize resources to achieve operational goals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and funder requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency
- Provide leadership and guidance to the NS Works staff team
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role (previous experience supervising and mentoring others)
- Strong knowledge of operational best practices and industry standards (awareness of NS Works programming, funding opportunities and career development best practices)
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient in using various software applications (e.g., MS Office, social media applications and data base systems)

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the NS Works program.

Salary and Benefits:

Pay: $52,942.50-$63,570.00 per year

French not required but would be an asset.

Schedule:

Mainly days Monday to Fridat 8:30 - 4:30 pm, with flexibility to work outside of those hours as required.

Work Location: In person, the Operations Manager will work out of both the Kentville and Windsor NS Works offices, with the ability to work remotely.
