Financial Analyst

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst in our Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complex financial plans including Income, Estate and Savings plans for Advisors and their clients
• Summarize legal documentation including wills and family trusts and provide commentary
• Support Advisors on how to proceed with financial projects based on analysis of the market (past and present)
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support Advisors on decision-making process for Client outcomes
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plan and forecasts

Desired Skills & Experience

• An undergraduate degree/diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, both individually and as part of a team, dealing with changes and interruptions while maintaining strict deadlines
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Previous experience handling confidential or sensitive information with integrity
• Exceptional planning, organizational and time management skills
• Understands and recognizes priorities, deadlines and has a sense of urgency
• Willing to complete/working towards CFP/CPA
