The team at Burchell Wickwire Bryson LLP is growing! BWB is currently accepting applications for full-time, permanent administrative opportunities based in the firm's new office space at 1801 Hollis Street in Halifax, NS.

The Opportunity:

BWB is looking to hear from administrative professionals who are interested in starting a career with one of Halifax's leading law firms!

The firm's team of administrative professionals support our lawyers with a variety of tasks and projects in a number of practice areas, always ensuring clients' expectations are not only met, but exceeded.

Depending on the role and areas of law supported, members of our administrative support team may be tasked with a number of different tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Drafting and preparing various types of documents, forms and reports;
  • Maintaining physical and electronic files;
  • Scheduling appointments & meetings;
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence;
  • Scanning, printing and binding documents;
  • Assisting with time and billing processes;
  • Basic accounting-related tasks and processes; and,
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate:

If you are a motivated and organized administrative professional with a keen eye for detail, an aptitude for technology and experience providing top level client service, we want to hear from you!
Experience providing administrative support within the professional services industry, post-secondary education in business or office administration, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are considered an asset.
