Steel Worker/Structural Welder

Job description

- Responsible for welding and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications and blueprints.

- Responsible for erecting, placing and joining steel girders, columns and other pieces to form structural frameworks.

Job requirements:

- Completion of a certified welding program and/or steel worker apprenticeship program preferred

- CWB welding ticket SMAW all position.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding activities

- Experience in structural welding

- A valid driver's license

- Excellent knowledge of construction equipment such as telehandlers, scissor lifts, forklifts, in addition to laser levels, power tools and welding equipment

- Physically fit and able to work at heights.

- Willingness to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions.
