The Magnolia - Enfield, NS
The Magnolia is located at 416 Highway #2 in Enfield. The home accommodates 71 people in total, 59 who need Level II nursing care and 12 who require the support of residential care. There are five cottages within the home with 12 to 15 individuals, each in a single room with a private washroom. Each cottage has its own living room, dining room, bathing suites and access to enclosed garden spaces.

About The Role
We are seeking candidates for who are available to work and cross-train in three areas: Laundry, Housekeeping and Food Service (Dietary).

Food Service (dietary) responsibilities include preparing, assembling and portioning food and beverages to the residents of The Magnolia.

Housekeeping and Laundry responsibilities include maintaining a high quality of cleanliness in the facility. Duties in housekeeping include microfiber cleaning as well as deep cleaning and sanitation.

Duties in Laundry include Operating commercial laundry equipment as well as the sorting, folding and delivery of linens.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 graduate or equivalent
• W.H.M.I.S. training an asset
• Food Handlers Certificate
• Interpersonal skills, a good work ethic, and a strong ability to communicate.
