Job Title: Warehouse - Forklift Operator (Afternoon Shift)
Pay: $20.57/hr.
Shift: Monday-Friday
Hours: 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Full-time)
Location: Ottawa, ON- East

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading of trailers
• Picking pipe orders, restocking product and shipping with the use of a hand and mechanical trucks
• Responsible for counter sales
• Ensuring customer orders are completed, ready for shipment in a safe and timely manner and reports any exceptions to supervisor
• Maintains regular communication with customers and sales staff regarding service and or delivery matters
• Optimizes the use of warehouse resources to meet customer shipping requirements
• Ensures efficient operations are maintained by optimizing availability of efficient and safe equipment, identifying process improvement opportunities, etc.
• Reports any damage to equipment or shipments, ensuring photographs and reports are completed.
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable forklift/warehouse experience
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and great team player
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to utilize a computer for daily tasks
