Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our paving company. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery in road construction and paving projects. As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for efficient and safely operating equipment such as skid steers, rollers, and other heavy machinery to support our paving operations.

Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to skid steers, rollers, and other relevant machinery.
• Assist in road construction and paving projects, ensuring work is carried out according to project specifications and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Work closely with the paving crew to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project execution.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, always promoting a safe work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, preferably in the paving or road construction industry.
• Proficiency in operating a variety of heavy machinery, including skid steers and rollers.
• Strong understanding of road construction and paving processes.
• Ability to interpret project plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification or training in heavy equipment operation.
• Experience with asphalt paving and compaction techniques.
• Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance procedures.
