Reach Forklift - Batching/Compounding

Job Title: Batching / Compounding AND Forklift

Available Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Rate of Pay: $21.50/hour

Location: Burlington, Ontario - Mainway & Corporate Drive

Job Type: Ongoing Temporary

We are looking for Compounder Helpers to join our client's team at their cosmetic and personal care products manufacturing facility. We are looking for candidates with long-term experience in a similar role involving the batching and moving of products. This position is a long-term role and offers room to grow in a successful Canadian company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support compounders through timely, accurate, delivery of raw materials.
• Verify all materials are pulled from the warehouse to confirm the part number and quantities.
• Be responsible for all materials being issued or transferred.
• Check the route sheet for special instructions of documentation.
• Be responsible for servicing the floor with raw materials for batching.
• Return all raw materials to warehouse or racks upon completion of job and ensures the returned material is identified with a legible barcode label.
• Confirm that the quantity of materials being returned matches the system and if it does not match, that it is documented accordingly.
• Be responsible for hooking up totes and emptying the tanks.
• Be responsible for housekeeping and emptying garbage bins throughout shift and at the end of shift.

Candidate Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience within a compounding department preferred.
• 1-2 years Raymond Reach experience and a valid forklift license required.
• Problem-solving, decision-making skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines.
• Motivated, self-starter who can work independently within a team environment with minimal direction and a passion to learn.
• Communicates effectively with co-workers and possesses excellent people skills.
