Job Title: AZ Driver

Hourly Pay Rate: $30.36/hour

Start Time: 6am

Shift: Monday to Thursday; 10-hour shifts (overtime as required after 44 hours)

Location: Stoney Creek, Ontario

Job Type: Temporary

We are hiring for temporary/seasonal AZ delivery drivers for a well-known beverage distributor in Hamilton and Niagara. This is a seasonal assignment with potential for extension. Qualified drivers will be able to drive both manual and automatic tractor/trailer OR straight truck. Selected candidates will deliver customer beverage orders, and must be comfortable with hand bombing and merchandising when necessary, lifting up to 50lbs if driver helper is not available.

Kindly note that this role is paid only on payroll and paid weekly.

Responsibilities:

· Safely operate manual or automatic tractor/trailer OR straight truck

· Complete deliveries following provided route – approx. 8 to 14 deliveries daily

· Deliver to customer locations and merchandise items if required; may have driver helper to assit

· Unload and move products manually or with dolly or pump truck

· Use of handheld device for receipt and payments

· Use of ELD (Geotab)

· Provide strong customer service to customers

· Other general labour tasks as necessary

Job Requirements:

· 1-2 years of AZ city driving experience with manual and automatic transmission required

· Willing to provide an abstract and CVOR dated within 30 days

· Willing to provide or run a criminal record check

· Full training provided

· Willing to offload, load, and merchandise product lifting up to 50 lbs.
