Continuing Care Assistants

Rosecrest embraces a resident-directed approach to care (Eden Philosophy) . We offer positions with dedicated assignments to cottages so that our residents and staff have the time to form relationships built on choices, fun and respect. We are seeking individuals who show the true spirit of teamwork and a strong ethic of care to join our team.

We ask that you are certfied CCA registered through Nova Scotia.

The Magnolia - Enfield, NS

Located at 416 Highway #2, the Magnolia accommodates 71 residents. There are five cottages within the home with 12 to 15 individuals. Each resident has a single room with a private washroom. Each cottage has its own kitchen, dining room, living room, bathing suites and access to enclosed garden spaces.

At the Magnolia, the Continuing Care Assistant has an enhanced role where she/he:

Maintain a full time schedule.

Provides personal care.

Facilitates recreation activities within the cottage.

Prepares and serves meals to residents.

Provides light housekeeping to the individual rooms and within the cottage.

Assists residents with their laundry.

Continuing Care Assistant Certification (CCA)

Registered with CCA Registry In Nova Scotia, and be a resident of Nova Scotia.

Proof of Vaccination

A current and original copy Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check is required, completed within 3 months

Able to communicate effectively with clients and families in a clear and effective manner that demonstrates respect, empathy and understanding.

Strong assessment skills.

Ability to work independently and problem solve.
