Position Overview:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic will be responsible for the installation, diagnosis, and repair of various HVAC/R equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of systems and equipment, making it an exciting and challenging position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair RACK refrigeration systems in grocery stores, including both new and legacy systems from brands such as Hill/Phoenix, Hussmann, and Emerson.
Work on RTU (Rooftop Units), MUA (Make-Up Air Units), and various ventilation systems from Carrier, Lennox, CaptiveAire, and others, for a range of applications.
Service commercial refrigeration equipment, including self-contained units, ice machines, deli, and bakery equipment.
Perform maintenance and repairs on boilers with in-slab heat systems and radiant heating, commonly used in car washes.
Handle installation and maintenance of various restaurant and convenience store equipment.
Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every interaction.

Qualifications:

Red Seal Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic certification, 4th Level Apprentice, or Licensed A or B Gas Fitter.
Valid driver's license.
Strong customer service skills.
Previous experience with grocery store refrigeration equipment is an asset.
A willingness to learn and take initiative on new HVAC/R systems and technologies.
