Name and description of the hiring departmentThe Talent Acquisition Department is looking for candidates to support the recruitment team for the summer.
They will be responsible for the recruitment and selection process for candidates applying on open roles. They will accomplish most of the steps in the recruitment process including the selection of non-management employees. They will coordinate the process from start to finish and will be responsible for ensuring its integrity and compliance with established policies and practices.
They will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition.
Job Duties / Accountabilities- Recruit and select candidates, conduct phone/video interviews, pre-screen using targeted selection techniques
- Receive, analyze, negotiate and post all job postings from the various certification units, in compliance with policies, processes and collective agreements
- Prioritize urgent requests and plan the daily workload in order to meet tight deadlines
- Provide coaching to managers and employees, as well as explanations of the guidelines governing the job posting, redeployment and candidate selection processes
- Determine employee eligibility based on the transfer criteria specified in the collective agreements including the Analysis and management of procedures related to the process
- Prepare the documents related to the different teams' requests including the update, creation & management of various databases and websites
- Manage candidates attraction strategies, including searching for candidates and calling potential talents
- At least one-year experience in customer service
- Knowledge of English and French required with no significant limitation: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
- Demonstrated influence and negotiation skills
- MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, and sense of priorities
- Ability to reason and make decisions independently
- Excellent communication skills, ability to establish rapport with people in abstract circumstances (over the telephone)
- Strong ability to adapt, ability to work under pressure and handle several files simultaneously
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to read quickly, analyze, deduce and summarize
- Conscientiousness, meticulousness, attention to detail, team spirit
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced, and efficient environment
- Strong focus on customer service and quality
- Working knowledge of recruitment tools and recruitment experience
- Currently studying for a certificate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management
- Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., according to business needs
- Salary in accordance of the collective agreement
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
