About the Role
Reporting to the Provincial Manager of Evaluation, Quality and Learning Health System you will be responsible for:
- Work with partners/clients to undertake strategically focused evaluation activities that inform decision-making within NL Health Services.
- Design and implement evaluation plans and frameworks within the province’s health system.
- Develop and implement data collection tools.
- Monitor evaluation activities.
- Identify and mitigate strategies, where needed, to ensure deliverables are completed as planned.
- Consult and provide evaluation expertise to health system representatives.
- Write evaluation reports summarizing findings.
- Make evidence-based recommendations to health system representatives.
- Prepare presentations and infographics to support knowledge translation.
About You
Your education and experience include:
- Master’s degree in Applied Social Psychology, Health Services research, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of relevant evaluation experience:
- Relevant experience would include but is not limited to:
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders within the health system.
- Experience with developing and implementing large scale evaluation projects.
- Experience preparing comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Knowledge and experience in continuous quality improvement would be considered as asset.

You have the following skills and abilities:
- Experience in application of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, techniques and analysis is essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Superior communication skills (verbal and written).
- Good judgment and an ability to build consensus among groups with differing priorities.
- Ability to apply critical thinking throughout the evaluation process.
- Ability to function in high pressure, diverse, and changing environment.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and partners.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
