Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking an individual with autonomy and initiative who will provide high level advice and information on administrative matters to the University, Corporation and learners to join our team as Medical Education Administrative Coordinator for the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the planning, coordinating, implementation, and evaluation of training activities, in support of and adherence to the competencies, mission, values, and goals of the Organization and Universities.

Who you are?
You have a worked in an educational and or related role for a minimum of 3-5 years. You have experience in medical education, communication, organizational and the ability to work independently or as a team.
- Knowledge of Postsecondary Educational Programs is an asset.
- Demonstrates the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously efficiently and effectively. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as attendance at meetings outside the normal work hours is required.
- Works well independently as well as within a team environment
- Positive, progressive attitude
University degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.
What you will do?
- Communication & Support: Manage correspondence and inquiries for the Saint John Internal Medicine Training Site. Provide administrative support to the Site Director, Curriculum Coordinator, and Research Coordinator.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain rotation and training schedules. Coordinate meetings, events, and progress reviews. Oversee resident time-off requests and orientation.
- Program Administration: Assist with policy development, accreditation preparation, CaRMS match, and site visits. Track budgets, expenditures, teaching activities, and evaluations.
- Event & Initiative Planning: Organize special events, operational initiatives, and academic advising connections. Process reimbursements for residents.
- Reporting & Documentation: Draft communications, prepare reports, maintain guidelines and records, and pull data as required.
- Collaboration: Liaise with key departments, institutions, and stakeholders to support educational initiatives and foster program excellence.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing learning opportunities to support personal growth and program improvement.
