Lounsbury Furniture in Miramichi is looking for a part-time Warehouse Operator and Delivery Driver.

In this role you will load and unload trucks, assemble and move products within the store and in a customer's home, and prepare orders for delivery.

If you are friendly, polite, and strong then this is the position for you!

Hours of work are:
Mondays: 8am to 12pm
Thursdays: 8am to 12pm
Saturdays: 8am to 5pm
You may be required to work more hours to cover vacation time.

Responsibilities

• Picks, packs, and prepares orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Assemble and move product within the store and in a customer's home
• Housekeeping and cleaning of warehouse area as required
• Works as part of a team to provide a great work experience in the warehouse
• Local and regional travel is required for deliveries

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• This is a Position of Trust, and a Criminal Record Check is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driver's abstract
• Must have steel-toed safety boots
• Ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, as required, including but not limited to prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and up to 100lbs with another person
